POSITION SUMMARY:
Greenwood Capital Management (GCM) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to execute marketing across the management company and its portfolio of companies. Marketing strategy for GCM and its affiliated entities is set by the Operations Manager; this role is responsible for bringing that strategy to life — producing content, managing day-to-day digital and print marketing execution, and keeping every channel (web, email/SMS, social, print) on-brand and on-schedule. The ideal candidate is a strong content creator and executor who thrives on turning a marketing plan into finished, published, and distributed work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation & Execution:
Execute the marketing strategy and campaigns developed by the Operations Manager across the management company and portfolio companies.
Create and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns, including copywriting, list segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Update and maintain company and property websites with current content, offers, and imagery.
Create and schedule social media content across platforms, including sourcing and creating images and graphics.
Develop content designed to engage customers, tenants, investors, and other stakeholders across digital and print channels.
Design & Print Materials:
Create print marketing content and assist in designing print and promotional items, including but not limited to banners, flyers, signage, and mailers.
Source and create photography/imagery for use across web, social, email, and print.
Maintain consistent visual brand standards (forest green / gold identity, “Capital With Conviction”) across all content and materials.
Cross-Functional Support:
Work closely with the Operations Manager to translate strategic priorities into weekly/monthly content and production schedules.
Coordinate with property management, operations, and vendor contacts to gather content needs, assets, and approvals.
Track content performance (engagement, open/click rates, social metrics) and report results back.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned that may not be specifically stated above.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field preferred but not required.
4+ years of relevant experience in marketing, content creation, digital marketing, or a related function preferred.
Demonstrated experience executing marketing campaigns across multiple digital and print channels.
Experience supporting multiple brands, business units, or portfolio companies is an advantage.
Experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients is preferred.
Systems and Technical Skills:
Proficiency with design and content-creation tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, and/or Adobe Photoshop.
Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms, including campaign creation, list segmentation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Experience managing and scheduling content across major social media platforms.
Ability to update and maintain website content, imagery, promotions, and other marketing information.
Working knowledge of SEO principles and practices is preferred.
Experience creating digital and print marketing materials, including social graphics, banners, flyers, signage, mailers, and promotional materials.
Ability to source, edit, and manage photography, graphics, and other visual assets.
Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance metrics, including engagement, open rates, click-through rates, and social media performance.
Core Competencies:
Strong written English, copywriting, editing, and content-development skills.
Strong visual and creative judgment with excellent attention to brand consistency.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns, content pipelines, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Strong execution skills with the ability to translate marketing strategies into completed deliverables.
Proactive and resourceful in identifying marketing opportunities and recommending ideas.
Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with operations, property management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Results-oriented with the ability to track and evaluate marketing performance.
Work Requirements:
Full-time remote position supporting U.S.-based operations and portfolio companies.
Ability to work varying shifts based on business and client requirements.
Ability to manage multiple marketing deliverables and meet established content and campaign deadlines.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for content, assets, approvals, and production requirements.
Must maintain brand consistency across website, email, SMS, social media, and print marketing channels.
